How To Upgrade your Blackberry 10 Series to the OS 10.3.1

Following the upgrade on the BB OS, here are some tips on how you Upgrade to OS 10.3.1

From the time when the update was released Users are meant to get the OS notification on the Blackberry phone but if not received, kindly follow these steps:

 Go to “Settings” and from system settings to “Software Updates” and click “Check for Updates” this will bring up the OS update and unlike previous updates it can only be done via Wi-Fi as shown in  the image below

 

You need to set up your Wi-Fi by either using any network access to connect and start the OS update. 

You can also use  the Blackberry OS 10 desktop software “Blackberry Link” and click on software update when the prompts for the new update is indicated as shown below,

After following these steps the update will start as shown below

 

Afterwards you need to wait for the OS 10.3.1 to finish updating . Note that you need to exercise some patience as this might take long as the whole phone's operating system is being rewritten but the process has to finish before disconnecting from the WI-fi, if software update page is showing paused you need to reconnect and complete the update.
